Install Nvidia Drivers on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise/Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric/Linux Mint
The NVIDIA 295.33 driver for Linux has been released since few hours and comes now with support of the following Nvidia graphics cards:
GeForce GTX 680
GeForce GT 630M
GeForce GT 620
This latest release fixes, for example H.264 streams in VDPAU (Video
Decode and Presentation API for Unix), fixes also DisplayPort audio, and
support for latest Linux Kernels, such as Linux Kernel 3.3. You can

Mint 12/13.
Installation of Nvidia Drivers on Ubuntu/Linux Mint, Open Terminal and enter following commands in the Terminal:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
Restart your system:
Then open the NVIDIA X Server Settings window from the Unity Dash to check the current installed Nvidia driver version:
You can also check information about your graphics card driver with this command:
glxinfo | grep OpenGL

dari beberapa permasalahan ... Driver di linux yg belum trinstalll baik bisa menimbulkan panas..
apa cara di Atas cukup bisa mengatasi panas di laptop nya ?
